CLIENT CARE

CLIENT CARE

Your comfort is part of the experience.

At Skin Revival, your appointment is about more than skincare. It’s a chance to slow down, feel cared for, and take a little time for yourself.

Whether it’s your first visit or your tenth, here’s everything you need to know before you arrive.

Before Your Appointment

Come as you are.

You don't need perfect skin, an elaborate skincare routine, or even know exactly what you need.

Before your appointment, you'll complete a client intake form so I can learn a little more about your skin, sensitivities, preferences, and what you're hoping to get from your visit.

Please be honest and thorough—your information helps me create the safest and most comfortable experience possible.

Please let me know about:

  • Known allergies or ingredient sensitivities

  • Current skincare products and active ingredients

  • Prescription skincare or medications that may affect your skin

  • Recent facials, peels, waxing, laser treatments, injectables, or other cosmetic procedures

  • Sunburn or significant sun exposure

  • Skin irritation, rashes, open areas, or other changes

  • Pregnancy or other circumstances that may affect your treatment

  • Anything else you think I should know

When in doubt, just ask. I'd much rather answer a question beforehand than have you wonder whether something is okay.

Preparing for Your Visit

A few simple things can help you get the most from your appointment.

Arrive with a little time to spare.
For your first appointment, arriving about 5–10 minutes early gives you time to settle in and complete anything needed before we begin.

Skip the heavy makeup if you can.
You don't have to arrive makeup-free—your skin will be cleansed as part of your treatment—but coming with minimal makeup can help us get started comfortably.

Give your skin a break before your appointment.
Depending on your service, you may be asked to temporarily avoid certain exfoliants, retinoids, waxing, or other potentially sensitizing treatments beforehand.

Drink some water and take a breath.
That's really the only other requirement.

What to Expect

Your appointment is your time.

When you arrive, we'll take a moment to connect and make sure I understand what you're looking for.

From there, your treatment will be tailored to your skin, your comfort, and the service you've selected.

You can expect:

1 — Arrive & settle in
Take a breath. There's no need to rush.

2 — Check in
We'll talk about your skin, preferences, and anything that may affect your treatment.

3 — Relax & receive
I'll guide you through your experience and let you know what to expect along the way.

4 — Aftercare
We'll talk about anything you should know after your treatment and answer any questions before you leave.

Sensory Care

You don't have to relax a certain way.

Some people love to chat.

Some people want complete quiet.

Some people love music, warmth, scent, and lots of sensory details.

Others prefer things simple and subtle.

There's no right way to experience Skin Revival.

You're always welcome to let me know your preferences around:

  • Conversation

  • Music

  • Lighting

  • Scent

  • Temperature

  • Touch or pressure

  • Quiet time

Your comfort is never an inconvenience.

Cleanliness & Sanitation

A clean space is part of good skincare.

Your safety is important to me.

Treatment surfaces, linens, tools, implements, and products are handled and maintained according to applicable Washington sanitation and safety requirements.

I keep my treatment space clean, organized, and prepared for each client so you can focus on relaxing.

Washington's cosmetology rules include requirements for handwashing, cleaning/disinfection, implements, linens, product handling, and other sanitation practices.

You don't need a giant paragraph of regulations here. The goal is simply to reassure the client that cleanliness is taken seriously.

Products & Ingredients

Thoughtful products. Intentional choices.

Skin Revival uses a variety of professional, botanical, and sensory-focused products throughout the treatment menu.

Because everyone's skin is different, please let me know about any known allergies, sensitivities, or ingredient concerns before your appointment.

Natural or botanical ingredients can still cause sensitivities or allergic reactions, so please don't hesitate to ask about ingredients.

Communication Is Part of Your Treatment

Tell me what you need.

Too warm?

Too cold?

Too much pressure?

Not enough?

Want to chat?

Want quiet?

Need a little more time?

Tell me.

Your comfort matters, and communication helps me create the best experience possible.

You don't need a reason to take care of yourself.

You don't need perfect skin.

You don't need to know what treatment you need.

You don't need to be good at relaxing.

You don't need to have anything figured out.

Just come as you are.

I'll take care of the rest.
