About Me

Welcome to Skin Revival—I’m Maria, a licensed esthetician with a lifelong passion for skin health and a mission to help people feel confident in their own skin.

I graduated from Gonzaga and initially stepped into the corporate world, managing projects and mastering organization. But even as I excelled, something felt missing. I wasn’t making the kind of impact that truly fulfilled me—I was just shuffling paper, not helping people. So, I traded my cubicle for a treatment room and finally pursued my dream of becoming an esthetician.

My love for skincare started early (much to my brother’s dismay as I chased him around hoping to extract blackheads). But it wasn’t until adulthood that I truly understood how deeply skin concerns can affect our confidence. Undiagnosed Celiac disease led to severe cystic acne, and I suddenly found myself dreading going to work—the only adult in the office struggling with breakouts. It felt like being thrown right back into those awkward teenage years.

Esthetician school became a turning point. I learned how the skin works, why conditions develop, and how to truly care for it. Even today, I still experience the occasional flare-up, but now I know how to manage my skin in a way that keeps it balanced, calm, and glowing.

That experience shaped my philosophy: when you understand your skin, you can transform it. And most people have never been taught what their skin actually needs.
